1. Did you know that baby bunnies are called kittens.
2. The backbone of a rabbit is very fragile and can break easily when handled improperly or dropped on its back.
3. Did you know the worlds heaviest rabbit is 4 year old Continental Giant from the UK, weighing in at a little over 53lbs!
4. Rabbit teeth are open-rooted, growing throughout their lives. When rabbits grind their teeth it can sound like a purr.
5. A rabbit 'binky' is an expression of joy where they run, jump into the air, twist their body and flick their feet.
6. The current world record for a rabbit long jump is 3 meters. The current world record for the rabbit high jump is 1 metre.
7. Rabbits have an excellent sense of smell, hearing and vision. They have nearly 360 degrees panoramic vision.
8. Rabbits can talk with varying noises meaning different things, e.g. low humming when running round you is a sign of affection.
